Drawing I did of Thranduil who is the Elven King of Mirkwood. He is also the father of Legolas.


I just loved the crown they made for him in the Hobbit movies! It looks like a crown an elf should wear. Very pretty. I know my drawing looks nothing like that crown in the movie.


used grey tone paper, drawing pencil & white colored pencil.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!, not him, I hate his personality and attitude towards eveyone, even if he is Legolas's father - he's still an ar**hole!!

Now I've got that out of my system, nice work on this, even though the crown isn't exactly the same as the film it's still the same basic shape and style with your own twist, I love the way you've drawn the hair and the paper works perfectly for this kind of drawing, it gives it a nice colour and texture.  By the way what tools did you use for this...???
