Beast Lord Curran

This was my attempt of making a sculpture of the Beast Lord Curran. Curran is a werelion in the Kate Daniels Novels by Ilona Andrews. In the book he was discribed as being gray with dark grey stripes. I couldn't remember if it said his mane's color but I made it a dark gray.

The thing that took the longest to do was that mane! And I had to use a needle tool to place each clay hair on his head/neck.And I had to add a lot to keep him from looking like a young lion. Does he still look like a young lion? I think next time I do a male lion I might go about the mane differently.
